Bone-A-Fried Thugs

Maybe you've heard the news that the Grammy award winning rap group Bone Thugs N Harmony are in the process of getting back together. This reunion would not only include Bizzy Bone but also the long awaited return of Flesh Bone, who has spent several years in prison (pre-Crossroads).

The group has endured several financial issues. These were the primary reasons behind the departure of Bizzy. So I was thinking maybe the group could capitalize on the branding capabilities of their name.

Bone Thugs should develop a chain of Southern Style breakfast restaurants starting off in the mid-west.

Explorations in Transcendance & Correspondance

this is a series of clips with me trying explore African forms with street style dance. The question I asked myself is how related are our African roots to our modern movement, and how well will they blend. This is the result:



I plan on exploring this form further at some point, but right now I'm working on another abstract form that is basically man's attempt to become music visualizers like on Windows Media Player Or iTunes (i'll blog on that next month)

VisuaLive: It's INITIAL Conception

This a bit from VisuaLives initial conception, but now it's almost entirely different:

"... for unpolished/unprofessional as well as professional visual artists of any degree. This original process would encompass a unique yet practical tool for live image(s) manipulation and broadcast, creating a new medium of entertainment as well as a tool for creating media for that medium. It would potentially be interactive on both ends (the producer and the viewer) of what's present on the screen . Much like a video game, but with a wider variety of purposes. That purpose being whatever you wanted it to be. It would be an open virtual visual canvas for live motion art, and the functions and possibilities of what could be created in that world would be defined by an online community of contributors to the programs capabilities of live manipulation. In Layman's terms - a web-based open architecture or open source (not sure because i'm not that technically inclined) live streaming VJ instrument."

This vision I believe will ultimately manifest itself. But it has been dialed back a bit, and a better sculpted version will premier soon enough with a lot more Pop appeal.

Here is a video of my media necklace when I first created it. Since I've put it on a thicker chain. One I got from the lead singer of Semi-Precious Weapons, Justin. Damon Dash and Jim Jones also told me that it was "fresh".

What are JoFreshisms?

Often times I come up with entertaining ideas, some not so entertaining but maybe interesting. I do not consider myself to be a good writer or traditional artist, though some view me as a fine dancer. I am an enthusiast of big concepts usually in the realm of entertainment/art/media, for the purpose of putting magic into peoples hearts and souls. Many of the ideas that I plan to post may be novel ones. Some might have lucrative potential. Many may be too absurd to take seriously.
